We have a serious duty to provide for the catechism of all of our members and especially to support and assist our parents as the primary and principal educators of their children in faith and in Christian living. What a gift you give your children by teaching them about Jesus Christ and his love! We are here to assist you in this most important work.
Dear members of Our Lady of Fatima Parish Family,
It is now time to register for Faith Formation Classes for 2024-2025. Our Religious Education program, which is regulated through the Diocese of Springfield, is a program that includes classroom and weekly Mass with Holy Eucharist.
CCD IS SCHEDULED TO START ON OCTOBER 6th and 7th, 2024 AS FOLLOWS:
Grades 1-6 on Sunday from 9:45 – 10:45
Grades 7-9 on Monday from 7:00 – 8:00
THE REGISTRATION FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Grades 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & $40.00 per child
First Communion (2nd grade) fee is $50.00, and it will cover the following:
o Textbooks
o Flowers for the alter on the day of First Communion
Confirmation (9th grade) fee is $90.00, and it will cover the following:
o Textbooks
o Confirmation Retreat.
o Flowers for the altar on the day of Confirmation.
o Stipend for the Bishop or Monsignor to perform the ceremony.
o Stole for Confirmation Day
Kindly complete the registration form in its entirety with parents’ information, in addition please provide us with the requested information for each student. The registration form can be obtained below by calling the Parish Rectory at 413-583-2312.
Ms. Rego will be at the Parish Center Religious Education office on the following dates from 9:30am to 10:45am and 5:30pm to 7:00pm ---- September 12, 19, and 26 (Thursdays)
Please Note: Any updates to the CCD schedule such as cancelations due to inclement weather, cancelations or any other announcements will be communicated through text and/or email, our website above, Facebook, Instagram. Please provide us with a legible cell phone number and an email address on the registration form.

Preparation for the Holy Eucharist
The very act of celebrating the joyful occasion of First Communion reveals our belief in the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. We should not take for granted receiving the Eucharist for Jesus comes to us in a unique way as we receive him into our body and soul. This is the source and summit of our faith: it is the body, blood, soul and Divinity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are so glad to help your child prepare for this Blessed Sacrament.
Sunday Family Mass
The most important faith formation you can give your child is attending Mass as a family. Children need to attend Mass as much as adults do, because they too need the graces that Jesus offers us through Holy Mass.
Creating Opportunities
Middle School and high school students are given opportunities to develop competence, a sense of belonging and meaning. Our adult leaders try to build relationships so that they can better connect with your kids and making this "their" church community. Student's leadership potential can be developed through lector opportunities, altar serving, volunteering, choir and Parish Council. We'd like to help bring out our students' gifts and abilities.
